Three days have been spent wrestling with the Lord so that now I can relate to Jacob wrestling with the angel. Jacob would not let go of the angel despite the weariness and exhaustion of his physical body until he blessed him. Just as any little child does when every trick they know is exhausted in trying to get their own way, I pulled a sit down strike, saying I don’t want to play anymore, give me back my toys I want to go home! I needed mother’s comforting arms and not the firm discipline of my father or so I thought, only I didn’t have that out. My loving Father with all tenderness of a mother’s love was still asking me the question that began the wrestling match. “THERE IS BLESSING TO UNLOCK! (?). YOUR PIECE IS IMPORTANT! (?) REACH DOWN DEEP WITHIN YOU! (?) PULL THAT DEEP BLESSING UP. IT IS DOWN DEEP WITHIN YOU. WHEN THAT BLESSING FORMS IN YOUR MOUTH AND COMES FORTH, BLESSINGS THAT YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR WILL POUR UPON YOU. For I have said BLESS YOUR ENEMIES. THERE’S A BLESSING, DEEP, WAITING FOR YOU TO SPEAK FORTH.” (?) Who or what have I not forgiven?
Thus the game began. Travelling back into the past, picking up every stone that could be the cap on my spiritual well, I checked all that came to mind to be sure that I had a firm foundation and not one filled with cracks that permitted water from the storms to penetrate and destroy. These storms of test and trials have been times of growing strong spiritual muscles until I came to know Whose I was, Who I am and without Fear of any storms. Had I truly forgiving? Knowing that was a requirement over the years I have worked diligently and carefully to obey. But had I purposely BLESSED MY ENEMY? The person the ENEMY used to work against me or the situation that created a problem to me was NOT MY ENEMY and it was this person that needed my BLESSING so that they would be set free from being an instrument of the ENEMY. Had I purposely Blessed them? As we, my father and I together, took this walk He would tell me things about the situations that I had not seen or known which brought liberation to me as I was seeing it from His perspective and not my victum viewpoint which brought refreshing to my spirit.

Try this exercise with Holy Spirit to learn where you may be and that which you yet may have to do. I look forward to receivie the Blessing in store for me as quickly as I obey and release them. How about you?
