“RE-STRUCTURE-ING”

1 October 2009 No Comment

What an interesting discovery when I realized that my Spiritual Carpenter did a re-structure-ing  job on me beginning on the inside which is the opposite to what the world does when building a habitation in which to live.   Time had become my IDOL with EMOTIONS  in second place, as the control boss, and  the physical complaining loudly when not getting it’s comfort strokes while my spirit, the real me, not even being recognized was starving  for lack of nourishment from God’s Word.

“The starting point”, says Ivan Roman, A Friend of God Ministries,”  of all restoration processes  is the understanding of coming into salvation.   Many people have a narrow  view such as  salvation as being a way to escape from deadly consequences of sin and repentance as strivimg toward moral purity.   They believe that if we ask Jesus to save us,  that we live clean lives we then will have a ticket to heaven.  This tends toward somewhat legalistic relationship with God and with each other as well as totally negating the overall joy and true benefits of salvation.’

There is no re-structure-ing nor re-storation without salvation as well as without hope.  God has a purpose and a plan,  an intended destiny for each human being.   To re-structure God must re-arrange, destroy walls of re-sistance, re-move wrong emotions, erase stinking thinking strongholds in our minds, expand and enlarge as well as strengthen the pillars of support in order that rain, hail, floods of good and bad situations do not and cannot wash out our foundation.

Building a structure takes time, a lot of energy, team work, tearing down, cleaning up and sweeping out,  which always brings excitement, celebration,  a house warming with  joy being in and living life with meaning where as before it was existing without knowing what for.
