ONLY to have them turn and make you their enemy rather than the friend you tried to be? This is an OLD TRICK of satan which works surprisingly frequently in the church circles. It is as if the church is the battlefield where your enemy lies in wait for the time that you do not conform to the mold established that all Christians should walk in. Where is that brotherly love, helping hand and protection that scriptures talk about with teaching and discipling of one another

The spirit of religiosity, routine and just getting in a rut makes the edge of our spiritual sword dull. God is calling us to sharpen our sword, sharpen our sight so that we may speak forth His purposes with authority. The last thing the devil wants is for the Church to rise up in the authority that is already theirs. Jesus paid it all that we may walk in victory. Victory is simple. It is not complex. But with the intellect, the natural mind being dominant rather than the spirit of man, the spiritual senses grow dull. Fire needs to burn in our spirit. This can only happen as we are completely dependent on the Holy Spirit. This is the very foundation for us to be a prophetic people. As we walk dependent on His voice, breaking chains of compromise, we will begin to experience the restoration of a sharpening in our spiritual vision.

We owe it to Jesus to do the hard thing to reach this city and this world with the good news about what Jesus did on our behalf. We owe it to Jesus to live a Godly life fulfilling the will and purpose of God for our lives. We owe it to God to live holy lives that reflect the glory of God.

We need to do the hard thing of being obedient to the Word of God. Everything will disappear but My Word will never pass away. Guess what you ought to hang onto? There is no other way – so be lazy and disobedient- but stop your murmuring and complaining or else you too will die in the wilderness. We are at the Jordon now, are you going to cross over
